Retail giant Mr Price Group has appointed Sipho Mabaso as its new head of people.
Before joining Mr Price Group, Sipho served as country HR business partner at FTI Consulting in South Africa, where he played a central role in aligning people strategies with business objectives for over three years.
His prior experience includes HR roles at Givaudan as HR manager, Transnet SOC as an HR consultant, and MultiChoice as HR business partner. His journey began as a HR trainee at South African Breweries in 2009, progressing steadily to become an HR business partner.
Academically, Sipho holds a MBA and a postgraduate diploma in general management from GIBS Business School, following a BCom honours in HR and labour relations from North-West University, where he also earned his undergraduate degree in HR management.
