Standard Bank's Sharon Taylor nominated for CHRO Awards

Standard bank head of Human Capital Sharon Taylor has been nominated for the inaugural CHRO Awards, which will be taking place on 27 November 2019. The prestigious awards will give HR directors and CHROs of listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions alike an opportunity to be recognised and rewarded for their exceptional performance and leadership. 

Sharon joined the group as part of the education and training division in 1991 and has held various senior executive positions in human capital. She served as the head of HR for commercial banking, CIB SA and global investment banking product line and of SBSA entity before taking on her current role in April 2014. She was appointed to the group executive committee in September 2018.

Over the coming month, CHROs and HR directors nominated for the CHRO Awards will be share some of their triumphs, accolades and challenges during two-hour interviews, which kicked off last week.
