HR director of Clarins, Stephanie Fouche has been nominated for the 2023 CHRO Awards.
Stephanie Fouche, HR director at beauty house Clarins, recently nominated for the 2023 CHRO Awards, boasts 30 years of HR generalist experience and has been at the helm of the HR department since October 2016. Prior to that she was head of HR at Polo South Africa, where she was responsible for the full HR function of the four companies that fall within the retail group.
Her specialities include implementation of change management initiatives, organisational design, talent and performance management as well as succession planning.
Stephanie holds a HR Management diploma which she obtained at Southern Business School.
Speaking to CHRO South Africa during a Community Conversation, Stephanie said for 2023, the company is planning to capitalise on the development of lower than management level employees, because, “We have been focusing quite a lot on developing management and have now started to grow the next group of non-managers with high potential, to be able to be our succession for management roles.”
The annual CHRO Awards recognise CHROs of listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions and award them for outstanding performance and leadership. Billed as the Oscars of HR, the ceremony will host top CHROs, VIPs and business partners for an exquisite evening of networking, entertainment and fine cuisine.
