The company says sponsorship is its way of recognising the strides HR professionals are making.
“Since our entrance in the market over five years ago, Workday SA has been unwaveringly committed to understanding the needs and opportunities of the CHRO community, and playing our part to help businesses unlock enormous growth by looking within and helping their people approach their true potential.
“To this end, sponsoring the CHRO of the Year Award is our way of recognising the great strides that people leaders in South Africa are making, and we couldn’t be prouder to be associated with this award,” says Kiveshen Moodley, country managing director at Workday South Africa.
He says the awards are a culmination of collaboration and effort that take place behind the scenes.
“Working in tandem with multiple organisations, and mutually sharing pains and viewpoints allows all to benefit, and the CHRO Awards enable us to learn from and recognise those that make the largest contributions to raising all the boats,” says Kiveshen.
The annual CHRO Awards will be held on 14 November at the Polo Room in Inanda, Johannesburg, where CHROs of listed companies, large corporations and state-owned entities will be recognised for their work in the industry. Billed as the “Oscars of HR”, the ceremony will host top CHROs, VIPs and business partners for an exquisite evening of networking, entertainment and fine cuisine.
