The remote working option improves work-life balance for employees.
Jobs that offer an option of working from home in South Africa have increased in the past two years. This is according to Career Junction’s latest report on employment insights.
“As a result of Covid-19, remote work opportunities have become the new norm globally,” says CareerJunction. The report reveals that two percent of South Africa’s vacant jobs across the country have full-time work-from-home options.
“The freedom of working remotely improves work-life balance for many employees by reducing commutes and allowing for more time for domestic duties or a lunchtime gym session,” Career Junction says..
According to the job portal, there are currently 46 times more vacancies that present an option of working from home, compared to January 2020.

- Business and Management
- Sales
- Admin, office and support
The information technology, finance and business and management industries have shown an increase this year in job opportunities compared to the previous year.
