Pedros Flame Grilled Chicken’s group HR head joins the race for the 2024 CHRO of the Year Award.
Naeem Timol, group HR and legal manager at Pedros Flame Grilled Chicken, South Africa is the latest addition to the nominees for the 2024 CHRO Awards.
CHRO South Africa continues to shine a spotlight on the finest in HR, recognising their hard work in the past year at listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions.
Naeem, who is based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, joined Pedros Flame Grilled Chicken, in June 2022.
Before that, he was the HR manager at Glodina Towelling for three years until 2021 before being promoted to group head of HR, industrial relations and legal at the holding company, Eerste Flambeau Huur.
Naeem also held the position of group head of HR and industrial relations at Durban-based clothing group, Kingsgate Clothing.
Naeem, who is an admitted attorney, holds a bachelor of laws (LLB) from the University of South Africa (UNISA), a certificate in HR management from the University of Cape Town, a postgraduate diploma in labour relations management also from UNISA, and has completed an emerging leadership development programme from KwaZulu-Natal CTC.
The 2024 CHRO Awards nominees will be celebrated during a gala ceremony at The Polo Room in Sandton on 14 November 2024.
