Gauteng Office of the Premier appoints Humbulani Tshivhase as chief director for HR management

Humbulani Tshivhase has started a new role as chief director for HR management and development at the Gauteng Office of the Premier.

He joins the Gauteng Office of the Premier after more than 14 years in the public sector, with extensive experience in organisational design and development.

Prior to this role, Humbulani spent the past seven years as director for organisational design at the Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA).

Before that, he served as deputy director for organisational design at the DPSA, previously worked as assistant director for job evaluation and organisational design at the National Department of Tourism.

Humbulani began his career at the National Department of Health, where he served as senior work study officer for organisational development.

Academically, he holds a national diploma and BTech degree in operations management, as well as master degrees in development policy and practice from the University of Cape Town and operations management from the University of Johannesburg.
