KingMakers, a sports and digital entertainment platform company across the African continent, has announced the appointment of Keeran Subramony as the new group head of people.
In his new role, Keeran is tasked with leading the people strategy at KingMakers, a critical component as the company seeks to build a high-performance culture while expanding its operations across Africa.

With KingMakers at what he describes as a “pivotal inflection point” in its journey, Keeran is eager to apply his expertise and create impactful HR strategies.

Prior to joining KingMakers, he was the people leader for Middle East & Africa at Genpact. He has also held roles at Massmart as an HR executive and multiple positions at Massdiscounters, trading as Game and DionWired, where he rose to the position of head of HR.
He holds a postgraduate diploma in management practice from Henley Business School and a bachelor of commerce degree in management and financial management from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
He has further sharpened his skills at GIBS Business School with a programme in business and management and the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, with a focus on data analytics. His qualifications also include a diploma in human resources management from Regent Business School, as well as a certificate in payroll & tax administration from the University of Cape Town.
