Nafisah Abrahams promoted to chief of staff at AfricArena

Nafisah Abrahams has been promoted to the role of chief of staff at AfricArena, a move that marks a milestone in her journey with the organisation, as this comes after serving as the operations project manager.

Describing her new role and responsibilities, Nafisah says, “My role involves building strong relationships with investors, startups, and key industry players, shaping brand messaging, and executing high-impact programmes that foster innovation and collaboration. I oversee strategic initiatives, ensuring seamless execution of events, strengthening partnerships, and aligning internal teams to drive growth.”

“I also support the team across functions, helping streamline operations, optimise workflows, and ensure we deliver impactful results. I am passionate about connecting ecosystems and creating opportunities for startups to thrive.” 

Nafisah brings experience from previous roles, including people and culture manager at AdvanceGuidance, hub manager at WomHub, and office coordinator at Ten Lifestyle Group. 

She holds an HR management diploma from Northlink College Panorama.
