Nomsa Mngadi to head up people services for De Beers Southern Africa

Nomsa Mngadi has been appointed as head of people services: Southern Africa at De Beers Group.

With a track record of working in the machine industry, Nomsa Mngadi will focus on employee engagement, workforce development and operational efficiency across Southern Africa in her new role as head of people services for De Beers Group.

Prior to joining De Beers, she was the group head of HR at Avacare Health, where she led transformation initiatives across multiple regions, focused on optimising the workforce and change management.

The seasoned HR practitioner has held various leadership roles at Industroclean South Africa, Cell C and DStv media sales. 

Her early career also included stints at Merchants Quest Staffing Solutions, NT Ngidi Consulting and Kelly Services.

She has a bachelor of arts (industrial and organisational psychology) from the University of the Witwatersrand, as well as a postgraduate degree in labour law and human resources management and services from the University of Johannesburg under her belt.
