RCL Foods welcomes Tembi Topham as HR executive for talent and DEIB

After leading the people strategy for nearly 20 years at The Spar Group, Tembi Topham has stepped into a new role as HR executive for talent and diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging (DEIB) at RCL Foods.

Central to her mission is to align talent strategies with a focus on DEIB.

“In this new position, I’ll be leading the company’s talent acquisition and management strategies while driving a refreshed and purposeful approach to employer branding and DEIB.”

Reflecting on her decision to join RCL Foods, Tembi shares, “What drew me to RCL Foods was its bold commitment to growing what matters – people, potential and purpose. This role offers the opportunity to help shape a culture where people feel seen, heard and empowered to thrive.”

Academically, Tembi holds a BCom in marketing management from Unisa and a postgraduate diploma in labour law from the University of Johannesburg. She has also completed executive development programmes and is currently pursuing an MBA at Regenesys Business School.
