Rekha Govender has been appointed head of HR at Goscor Group.
She joins Goscor Group after an 18-year tenure at Corobrik, where she progressed through several senior HR leadership positions, serving most recently as HR manager.
Prior to that, she was the HR & benefits manager and HR administration manager. She began her career at Corobrik as a PA to the HR and operations director before progressing to HR officer in less than a year.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a secretary to HR at Unilever, and at Edcon, where she served both as facilities administrator and personal assistant to the CEO, also started her working career as an HR administrator at Hendred Freuhauf.
Rekha holds a postgraduate diploma in labour relations, a BCom honours in business management and a national diploma in HR management from the University of South Africa.
