Mondelēz International has appointed Russell Coleman as senior director, people lead for Sub-Saharan Africa.
Before joining Mondelēz International, Russell served as HR adviser to the managing director and board at Frusina.
He previously spent more than three years at Volkswagen Group Africa, where he was board member and director of HR.
Russell previously served as HR director at Beiersdorf, executive HR lead for Danone Southern Africa, HR director at National Brands at AVI, and group HR manager for Africa operations at Parmalat South Africa.
Earlier in his career, he held the roles of HR head for integrated supply chain, South Central East Africa at Kraft Foods, HR manager at Aspen Pharmacare, HR and development manager for Willard Batteries at Altron, and HR officer at Faurecia.
Russell holds a qualification in human resources from Nelson Mandela University.
