Terryn Sithara Palani takes up CPO role at Hollard Insurance

Terryn Sithara Palani has taken on the role of chief people officer at Hollard Insurance, bringing with her more than 20 years of experience.

Reflecting on her new chapter, Terryn says, "I’m excited to join the Hollard family, a culture built on care, inclusion, and bold collaboration. Together, I look forward to elevating a culture where every voice matters, every effort counts, and every moment is an invitation to grow so we can empower people to deliver extraordinary outcomes for our customers and communities.”

Most recently, Terryn was part of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, working as group people experience. 

Before that, she spent nine years at Vodacom in several HR roles including group executive for talent, capability and EXX; executive head for talent acquisition and DEI; executive head for talent management, PD and assessments; executive head for learning and development, and executive head for organisational effectiveness and change.

She has also served as an organisational development executive at SABMiller and transition manager and change manager on SAP sales and distribution implementation at South African Breweries. Her earlier experience includes working as a solution optimisation consultant at Standard Bank.

Terryn holds a masters in industrial psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand. She also earned a B.Sc (honours) in industrial psychology and a bachelor of science from the same institution.
