Glencore Ferroalloys has announced the appointment of Tshidi Anya as their new chief people officer.
With a career spanning over 20 years in human resources, Tshidi brings a wealth of experience across diverse industries, including oil and gas, chemicals, and engineering, positioning her well to drive Glencore Ferroalloys’ people agenda forward.
Expressing her enthusiasm for the role, she shared, “With a spirit grounded in humility and a heart overflowing with gratitude, I am honoured to lead and ready to serve with passion and purpose.”
Tshidi has previously served as a CHRO at ISN Medical, regional HR director at Weir Minerals, and as head of HR business partnering at British American Tobacco. Her career journey also includes roles as HR manager at Sasol and deputy director in HR at the National Treasury of South Africa.
She holds a postgraduate diploma in business studies (doctoral programme) from GIBS, a master of management in business and executive coaching from Wits Business School, and a diploma in labour law from the University of Johannesburg.
