Assore Group has announced the appointment of Vanisha Balgobind as its new HR executive.
Vanisha joins Assore after serving as director of talent and human potential at Accenture, where she spent two years leading initiatives in HR strategy and organisational development.
Prior to this, she took a sabbatical following nearly seven years as executive head of HR at Exxaro Resources.
During her tenure at Exxaro Resources, she held multiple roles, including group manager for talent and learning and manager for HR optimisation and corporate projects.
Earlier in her career, she gained foundational experience at Kumba Resources, progressing from HR business partner to specialist in talent and succession planning.
Vanisha holds a bachelor’s in industrial and organisational psychology from Unisa and an MA in industrial and organisational psychology. She also earned an MBA from Unisa’s Graduate School of Business Leadership.
