Zamafuze Ngcobo steps in as CPO at BankservAfrica

Zamafuze Ngcobo has stepped into the role of chief people officer at BankservAfrica.

Most recently, she was the business development director at KFC Africa, where she started off as HR director for people development and capability.

Prior to that, she spent five years at Discovery holding different leadership roles, including head of talent acquisition and brand, chief of staff to the CPO and as a leadership and learning senior manager.

Earlier in her career she worked as a consultant and fellow at McKinsey & Company, and also held internship roles at Nota Bene Media Planning and the United Nations Information Centre.

Zamafuze holds a master’s in media for development and social change from the University of Sussex, a BA honours from the University of Johannesburg, and a BA from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
