Candice has garnered a lot of experience as an executive-level human resources professional in a short space of time and has been exposed to many industries, including financial, industrial, information technology and fast moving consumer goods. In the past four years, she has held roles as the HR partner at Lenovo and the HR director for Sub-Saharan Africa at Pernod Ricard, before taking on her current role.

At the HR Indaba, which will be the largest of its kind in South Africa, Candice will join FNB Wealth and Investment’s Tshidi Khunou and Sanlam Investment’s Jeanett Modise in a panel discussion about bringing purpose, flexibility and transparency back to the workplace.

Among other things, the session will explore whether organisations can embrace the gig economy to attract and retain the right employees, because the future success of all companies will be dependent on their ability to attract and retain talent.

The HR Indaba will give HR professionals an opportunity to learn everything they need to know about the latest HR technology, HR strategy, company culture, labour laws, recruitment, employee engagement and HR leadership. It will also bring together thousands of colleagues, suppliers, platforms, universities, specialists, recruitment agencies, CHROs and thought leaders.
