CFO Enterprises kicks off Women’s Month with a grand celebration

Sister companies CHRO South Africa, CFO South Africa and CIO South Africa will be hosting some of the most powerful women and their mentees on 1 August.

CFO Enterprises will be hosting a dinner on the first day of Women’s Month, which will be exclusively for the country’s top female executives in the HR, IT and Finance professions, as well as their mentees.

Themed “Seismic leadership: shifting landscapes, shaping leaders” the gathering promises to be an inspiring and transformative event designed to equip participants with the tools, insights and connections needed to navigate and shape the evolving landscapes of today’s world.

Attendees will hear from trailblazing women who’ve navigated seismic shifts and emerged as powerful leaders, such as Nomonde White-Ndlovu, chairperson: Wired4Women and Sharoda Rapeti, independent non-executive director, Altron who will have an intimate fireside chat moderated by Andisa Liba, CPO at Floatpays.

In a panel discussion themed “Women of the Future – Innovate to Dominate”, Sharon Taylor, chief people and culture officer at Standard Bank, Dr Denisha Jairam-Owthar, CIO at the Council for Medical Schemes, and Aneshree Naidoo, CFO at Webber Wentzel will take the women on a journey of self-discovery.

Participants will also dive into an interactive session that will equip them with the skills to adapt, thrive and gain practical tools to elevate their leadership game with renowned broadcaster, and consciousness and recovery coach Sam Cowen.

However, it couldn’t be a CFO Enterprises event without some awesome entertainment. Musician and actor Khanyo Maphumulo, known for her work in The Lion King and Sarafina, will deliver a scintillating performance while guests enjoy a delicious meal.

Last year, more than 300 women and their mentees from CFO Enterprises’ trifecta of communities filled The Venue in Melrose Arch. They shared personal stories of achievements, success, and self-worth. The attendees took advantage of opportunities for knowledge-sharing, networking, and career-building, especially in the company of other remarkable women.

Embracing the strengths of neurodiversity in the workplace
