HR Indaba Africa 2018: Deloitte planning to go big at HR Indaba

In addition to the speaking session by Deloitte's Trevor Page, the company will be hosting a variety of activities at their stand.

Deloitte has plans for the inaugural HR Indaba happening at the Sandton Convention Centre on 3 & 4 October 2018. Trevor Page, a leader in Deloitte Southern Africa's Human Capital practice. will present the results of the 2018 Deloitte Human Capital Trends Report for South Africa. Titled “The rise of the social enterprise”, the report, wherein HR and business professionals offered insights into the future of work and human capital’s valuable role in shaping it, reflects the shift in the growing importance of social capital in shaping an organisation’s purpose, guiding its relationships with stakeholders and influencing its ultimate success or failure. If you're looking for some guidance for the future you wouldn't want to miss this session. 

The following is a breakdown of the demonstrations that will be taking place at the Deloitte stand over the two days of the event. 

Day 1 

9 am – 9:30 am: A demonstration will take place on your Reward Tool. This will be presented by the team responsible for Reward and Executive Compensation and they will be available to answer any questions on the topic will be presented by Tyronne Jansen, Elana Hattingh and Hein Nienaber.

9:30 am – 10 am: A demonstration will take place on Chatbots. This will be presented by Marienus Trouw and Jo- Doyle. They are our implementation experts in this area and they will be available at the stand to answer questions on this exciting topic.

Competition Entry Forms Day 1: All attending the HR Indaba are welcome to visit the Deloitte Stand and answer one easy question and stand in line to win a Gift Hamper. The Draw will take place in the afternoon of Day 1 to select the winner. If they are still at the Indaba we can present them with the hamper immediately and or make arrangements to send the hamper to them.

Day 2 

9 am – 9:30 am: A demonstration will take place on Leadership. This will be presented by John Brodie. Our expert in the leadership area he will be available at the stand to answer questions on this exciting topic. 

9:30 am –10 am: A demonstration will take place on your Reward Tool. This will be presented by the team responsible for Reward and Executive Compensation and they will be available to answer any questions on the topic will be presented by Tyronne Jansen and Elana Hattingh.

12 pm: A demonstration will take place on the Future of Work presented by Talitha Muller and Karthie Padayachy. While not every organisation is on board yet, many are worried about the disruption ahead. But with change comes great opportunity—not just for advancements in technology, but for workforces and human potential in the workplace.
