Join the gamified virtual HR Indaba and boost your knowledge, network and career.

Covid-19 has presented unprecedented challenges for the business community, but it has also spurred innovation and reinvention on a grand scale. One event that has taken advantage of the disruption of Covid-19 to evolve and reshape itself is the annual HR Indaba Africa, which will re-launch this year as the HR Indaba Network, an interactive community, supported by engaging virtual and (in future) face-to-face events and content, throughout the year.

The HR Indaba Network launch is a Virtual Conference & Expo that brings together more than 5,000 HR professionals who want to accelerate their knowledge, network and career.

“The relaunch of the HR Indaba has made it possible to deliver a new kind of community interaction – one that keeps the community active and engaged all year round,” says Joël Roerig, the managing director of CHRO South Africa, which organises the HR Indaba. “The ongoing nature of the HR Indaba Network means that the interactions between partners, community members and industry experts will have a sustained impact, even if the popular face-to-face conference has to skip a year.”

The not-to-be-missed, gamified virtual launch event will take place on 14 October 2020.

HR professionals can sign up to attend at hr-indaba.co.za, and stand a chance to win prizes and contribute to shaping this new and exciting community.

The event will include:

  • A spectacular interactive, virtual expo showcasing leading HR tools and services.
  • 10 impact sessions with world-class speakers, including chief people officer Tswelo Kodisang, JSE HR director Donald Khumalo, Vodacom CHRO Matimba Mbungela, and Barloworld group executive for human capital and transformation Tantaswa Fubu.
  • A full-day gamified event with exciting scavenger hunts and prizes.
  • Opportunity to collect helpful brochures, playbooks and guides in a virtual swag bag.

But why wait for the launch day to start engaging? The HR Indaba Network has already started to host weekly webinars with leading experts on the hottest topics facing HR right now. You can register for the CFO SA newsletter if you don’t receive invites for these webinars yet.
