Italtile has appointed Marlene Badul as group HR executive, to lead the HR function.
Marlene joins the company after almost 15 years with DHL Supply Chain, where she held a number of HR leadership positions across South Africa, Africa and the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Most recently, she served as vice president of talent, learning and development and DEIB centre of excellence for EMEA. Before that, she was head of HR for Africa and HR director for South Africa.
Earlier in her DHL career, she held HR manager roles supporting the life sciences and healthcare, technology, automotive, transport and control tower business units.
Prior to joining DHL, she worked as a psychometrist at Siyeluleka Consulting and as a sales and marketing manager at Damelin.
Marlene holds a bachelor of social science in industrial psychology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a BA honours in industrial psychology from Unisa.
