The HR leader has been nominated for the work done at the integrated platinum group metals producer since 2014.
Colin Smith, head of HR at Northam Platinum, has joined the growing list of nominees for the 2024 CHRO Awards.
Through the CHRO Awards, CHRO South Africa continues to shine a spotlight on the finest in HR, recognising their hard work in the past year at listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions.
Before joining Northam Platinum in 2014, Colin was the group HR executive operations at Implats from 2007 to 2013.
He holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Hons) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
The 2024 CHRO Awards nominees will be celebrated during a gala ceremony at The Polo Room in Sandton on 14 November 2024.
