One Circle provides on-demand access specialised HR consultants.

One Circle has signed up for HR Indaba Africa 2019, which will be hosted at the Sandton Convention Centre on 16 and 17 October 2019. One Circle is an online workspace offering businesses access to specialised HR consultants to advise, plan, and execute on the business projects, on-demand, at a fair market price.

With over 20 years’ HR experience, One Circle founder and managing director Emma El-Karout is a strong advocate of flexible workforces and firmly believes in an agile HR model that supports business growth and value creation with proven returns. It's a model she believes could address a few of the major societal issues in South Africa, namely unemployment, gender and age bias, and the retention of experienced workers in the economy post-retirement ,all while giving local talent access to global work opportunities.

Emma is also a regular contributor for CHRO SA as has enlightening insights around the world of work and the shift towards flexible workfoces. In her article about leveraging the skills of retirees, she writes:

“Access to specialised retiree skills on-demand may become an invaluable tool for businesses to ensure the preservation and continuity of institutional knowledge and preparedness of new generations of skilled workers. Smart collaboration workspaces where businesses and consultants connect on-demand over a technology enabled ecosystem can assist retirees or experts easing into retirement to stay engaged.”

One Circle clients can engage with the highest skilled HR consultants, who can work from anywhere, alone or together, and across the HR cycle, to deliver on specialist HR projects without retaining them on the payroll or paying a ‘big brand’ premium.

As a partner, One Circle will have an exhibition stand and a speaking slot at the HR Indaba, which will be the largest of event its kind in Africa. It will give HR professionals an opportunity to learn everything they need to know about the latest HR technology, HR strategy, company culture, labour laws, recruitment, employee engagement and HR leadership. It will also bring together thousands of colleagues, suppliers, platforms, universities, specialists, recruitment agencies, CHROs and thought leaders.
