The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) has appointed Shuli Bantse-Chikane as executive for human capital.
In this role, Shuli is set to shape the institute’s people strategy and support its organisational priorities.
Shuli most recently served as leader in human capital at Mafupu Consulting, where she advised organisations on people strategy and leadership development.
Before that, she spent more than 17 years at African Bank, holding several senior roles including head of talent management and leader in human capital.
Her career also includes a 15-year tenure at uBank, where she served as HR director, as well as earlier roles as group HR manager at Telkom SA and within the justice department as HR director.
Academically, Shuli holds two social work qualifications from the University of the Witwatersrand.
