SetsMol joins HR Indaba partner lineup

post-title

SetsMol is a South African housing education company.

Housing education company Setsmol has signed up as a partner for the inaugural HR Indaba, which will be held at the Sandton Convention Centre on 3 & 4 October 2018. SetsMol was founded based on the reality that most people in South Africa are still in the dark when it comes to property ownership. Through various training programmes, it empowers communities to improve financial wellness and promoting sustainable home ownership.

SetsMol’s offerings range from the credit literacy initiative – an innovative campaign that incorporates practical credit education and targeted resources for rapid affordability and credit improvement – to the first-time homebuyer programme, which exposes the potential first-time homeowners to various housing tenure options available in the country and empowers them with knowledge of selecting appropriate tenure options (i.e buying, building, renting, freehold, sectional title, and housing associations).

SetsMol, which was one the top 20 small businesses at the 2016 South African Small Business Awards, was founded by Solomon Molefe Sechoaro who believes that the rights, contractual obligations, accountability and responsibilities of prospective and current property owners are not adequately explained in a way that demystifies the intricacies of property ownership and that this results in flagrant defaults.

As a partner, SetsMol will have an exhibition stand at the HR Indaba, which will be the largest of its kind in South Africa. It will give HR professionals an opportunity to learn everything they need to know about the latest HR technology, HR strategy, company culture, labour laws, recruitment, employee engagement and HR leadership. It will also bring together thousands of colleagues, suppliers, platforms, universities, specialists, recruitment agencies, CHROs and thought leaders.
