Barclays Africa Head of Organizational Effectiveness Sthembiso Phakathi has been confirmed as one of the speakers at HR Indaba Africa. In what will be the largest expo that is specifically for HR professionals, the Indaba will be happening on 3 October 2018 at the Sandton Convention Centre.

Sthe, as he is affectionately known, is an experienced and talented business advisor with a unique approach to organisational effectiveness. He works with his clients to harness culture and build competitive advantage through strategic focus, business connection and execution excellence. He's known for his passion for organisation design and behavioural change management.
He has broad knowledge in the development of organisational models, HR optimisation and workforce transition strategies. He's regarded by his peers as one of the leading practitioners in enterprise transformation and organisational effectiveness. A regular attendee of our events last year, Sthe has played an important role within our burgeoning CHRO community.
Currently, Sthe leads enterprise-wide organisational design projects that improve people processes, structures, measures and accountabilities with the end goal being optimizing the deployment of internal resources to achieve desired business results. He also coaches and mentors Organisational Design teams and works with business and functional leaders to assess their specific organisation design projects and processes to enhance both operational effectiveness and productivity. Prior to his current role, Sthe held senior roles at KPMG and Deloitte Consulting.
