Wayne Hoare leaves RCL Foods to join InterContinental Hotels Group

Wayne joins IHG after eight years as the CHRO at RCL Foods.

Wayne Hoare has left RCL Foods to join one of the world's leading hotel companies InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) as its new CHRo. IHG recently announced the appointment, saying Wayne would join the business on 14 September and will become a member of IHG's Executive Committee, replacing Ranjay Radhakrishnan who stepped down from the role in February this year.

Wayne will also join IHG's Global Diversity & Inclusion Board. With more than 30 years' experience in HR, Wayne and joins IHG after eight years at RCL FOODS, the second-largest foods business in South Africa, where he led the culture building and talent strategy for 25,000 employees. Prior to joining RCL FOODS, Wayne spent 26 years at Unilever, where he worked across a broad range of HR roles in both mature and developing markets in Europe, North America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
