Workday becomes Diamond partner for HR Indaba Network

post-title

Workday is becoming increasingly popular among SA’s big corporates.

Workday has officially signed up as a Diamond Partner for the HR Indaba Network, CHRO South Africa’s innovative platform and event taking place instead of the annual HR Indaba. Workday is a cloud-based financial management and human capital management software vendor and, in an era where the challenge to adapt has intensified, organisations are increasingly appreciating the value that Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms like Workday offer.

While Workday only officially launched in South Africa in February 2018, the company has already secured Dimension Data, ABSA, Old Mutual, Unilever, Altron, Barloworld, Webber Wentzel and many other major clients, with numerous other partnerships in the pipeline.

The company was founded by David Duffield, founder and former CEO of ERP company PeopleSoft, and former PeopleSoft chief strategist Aneel Bhusri. Workday has been an important partner in the establishment of the CHRO SA community, having been the primary sponsor since early last year. As the community has grown, so too has Workday continued its support.

The HR Indaba Network launch is a virtual conference and expo that brings together 5,000-plus HR professionals who want to accelerate their knowledge, network and career. The event boasts 10 Impact Sessions with world-class speakers, live engagement, and a complete overview of the most important tools and services for HR teams at the spectacular expo.

Through a unique collaboration with the online conference virtuosos from Vfairs, the full-day event will offer a gamified experience with leaderboards, exciting scavenger hunts and incredible prizes – boosting attendees’ overall learning experience.

Attendees of the event will see how HR Indaba Africa, the continent’s biggest and best HR event, has reinvented itself as a true community platform that will be available throughout the year. As a partner, Workday will host an insightful webinar in the lead-up to the virtual expo, while also receiving access to the broader CHRO community through the networks platform.
