Workday's sponsorship has been central to the growth of the CHRO SA community.
Workday has officially signed up as a diamond partner for the inaugural HR Indaba, which will be held at the Sandton Convention Centre on 3 & 4 October 2018. Workday is a cloud-based financial management and human capital management software vendor. The company was founded by David Duffield, founder and former CEO of ERP company PeopleSoft, and former PeopleSoft chief strategist Aneel Bhusri following Oracle's hostile takeover of PeopleSoft in 2005.
Workday has been an important partner in the establishment of the CHRO SA community, having been the primary sponsor since early last year. As the community has grown, so too has Workday continued its support and, earlier this year, the company launched its South African operations in a collaborative event with CFO SA and CHRO SA.

Fifty-two percent of companies on the fortune 500 in 2000 no longer exist today. And the rate of change in the business climate has only accelerated since then. What hasn't kept pace with the rate of change is the type of tool that is delivered to executives, associates and business leaders that allows them to keep up with the pace of the evolution of the world of work."
As a diamond partner, Workday will have a number of benefits in addition to having an exhibition stand at the HR Indaba, which will be the largest of its kind in South Africa. It will give HR professionals an opportunity to learn everything they need to know about the latest HR technology, HR strategy, company culture, labour laws, recruitment, employee engagement and HR leadership. It will also bring together thousands of colleagues, suppliers, platforms, universities, specialists, recruitment agencies, CHROs and thought leaders.
