The company views its sponsorship as a way to acknowledge the progress HR professionals are making.
Workday has announced it will be returning as a sponsor of the 2024 CHRO Awards.
“Since entering the market over five years ago, Workday South Africa has been dedicated to understanding the needs and opportunities within the CHRO community. We aim to help businesses unlock significant growth by focusing inward and empowering their people to reach their full potential.
“Sponsoring the CHRO of the Year Award is our way of celebrating the remarkable strides that people leaders in South Africa are achieving. We are incredibly proud to be associated with this award,” says Kiveshen Moodley, country managing director at Workday South Africa.
He adds that the awards are the result of extensive collaboration and effort behind the scenes.
“By working closely with various organisations and openly sharing challenges and insights, everyone benefits. The CHRO Awards give us an opportunity to learn from and honour those who have made the most significant contributions in advancing the profession,” says Kiveshen.
The annual CHRO Awards will take place on 14 November at the Polo Room in Inanda, Johannesburg, where CHROs from listed companies, large corporations, and state-owned entities will be recognised for their contributions to the industry. Dubbed the “Oscars of HR,” the event will bring together top CHROs, VIPs, and business partners for an elegant evening of networking, entertainment, and fine dining.
